Asking Too Much?
I am not normally a fan of TT, however, I do like this model with the traditional black dial:
Model is 'Z' with card garantie, pristine 'never worn" from a grey dealer who is asking AU$8178 (duty free). That's 7,186.83 US Dollars Opinions regarding the price please.....or what you would offer using cashiers bank cheque. Cheers Steve |

Well, BNIB the 16613 is 7,825 US $, so I don't think it is an overly good deal. You should be able to get at least 15 % or even more on a TT Sub from an AD. And on top of that you get peace of mind, a BNIB Rolex and a full guarantee.

Bo, can you tell me of a US AD that is willing to give more then 15%? I'm lucky to get 10% on TT sports models in Dallas. If I call out of state, I may find one that will do 15% but not more.

10 to 15% is all you will get. The AD are highly regulated by Rolex. I also think that the more you buy local the better chance you have of getting service and a Daytona:) The big dealers that give you 10 to 15% over the phone have no loyalty to the average Rolex little guy on this Forum. No one needs a Rolex(Timex can give you the time for $12.00) buy it because you love it and it makes you feel good.
