FS: Rolex 16570 Explorer II "Polar" White Dial circa 1996
For Sale:
Rolex 16570 Explorer II with white "polar" dial. Serial number T590xxx is circa 1996. Condition Condition is "excellent". Approximately 88-89% per the TimeZone guidelines with some minor scratches and nicks on the case and bracelet. The sapphire crystal is flawless. Please note that there is a small engraving on the caseback: 3 initials approx 4mm tall and a date approx 2mm tall. This is something a jeweler or watchmaker can remove with little fuss, if desired. Bracelet is a correct 78790 heavy oyster with fliplock clasp and only minor signs of wear. Bracelet has 12 links (1 link short) to comfortably fit up to a 7.25" wrist with all links installed. I do not know the service history of this watch, but I did time it against the atomic clock over the course of several days and it is running within COSC specs: +2 seconds per 24 hours, to be specific. Accessories: Watch only. No box and no papers. The modern "wave" box that is visible in some of the photos is just a prop and is not included. Price & Terms: $3695 includes complimentary overnight shipping. Bank wire preferred but paypal will be considered if buyer is reputable and agrees to pay the 3% fee. No offers to trade, please. As far as references, I have completed many transactions with forum members and have received over twenty positive feedback posts which can be found by searching for my username in the "who's who" section of the forum. I would prefer not to accept returns unless this watch is significantly not as described so please view pics very carefully and ask any questions you might have before committing to purchase. Private message is the best way to contact me. Thanks! |

Bump. I can have the engraving removed before shipping (at no charge) if the buyer wishes.
