Pelagos bezel
Hey guys I am with am second Pelagos now, and have a little play, about 0.5-1mm at all stops, except at 12 where it's rock solid. It's not a lot of movement, but I'd prefer none. Is this representative of the majority of Pelagos for owners here?

Are you referring to vertical movement? This is normal, due to the ball-bearing system that the bezel runs on (similar to the Rolex Sub)

No, if I turn it clockwise of the 12 spot, there is a little movement the other way.

The BB has a tiny-little-bit of play too. But honestly, wasn't really expecting it to be anything like landing a spaceship on a fraction.

Just looked at mine, there is very minor play on the bezel. But when at 12 there is virtually no play. This is done I believe on purpose, so when reseting it drops in at 12 solidly avoiding going past and having to do a full rotation again. I can actually reset the bezel just by feel, not even looking at it.

OK, I believe this is mormal too - the spring-loaded bearings have a little 'give' in both planes, but naturally centre where they are supposed to. My Sub C (& to a lesser extent GMT II c) did the same thing

Do you mean free play left and right when it clicks into place?
Mine has that tiny bit too... maybe because it has a 60 click bezel instead of 120 I faced free play laterally (when you hold the bezel and move it along the watch face... like trying to shift it from 12 to 6 and from 6 to 12)... RSC is currently looking at the watch and hopefully I can get it back with that fixed |

If the free play occurs when you perform "turning" action, I think it's normal... If the free play occurs when you perform "compressing" action, I think it's normal too If the free play occurs when you perform "shifting" action (like trying to move the bezel from 12 to 6 and back to 12 without any "turning" nor "compressing" actions), I don't think it's normal as I tried a few brand new Pelagos, and none of them had the free play... Anyway will keep Pelagos owners posted on the outcome (fingers crossed) |

What you are describing sounds normal to me, particular considering the Pelagos has only 60 clicks vs the Submariners/SD/Deepsea's 120. |
