-Date 2003 - NOS - Value ? Opinions pls
Today I was offered a NOS, never worn, Date , with midnight blue dial, polished steel bezel, with Oyster bracelet, Serial F 88xxxx, which places it in Sep 2003, with non stamped yet punched certificates and box, at a price of Euros 2.700.
Its nice and classic, but how does the value sound to you ? I have to respond by tomorrow. The AD sells the current model at Euros 5.300. All opinions accepted. Thank you.

I think the price is appr. the price is the same as in 2003. I bought the same watch in Norway in 2005 and paid appr. 3.300€. I think 2.200€ is a fair price today.

Thank You Bjornar. This is what I also believe. Lets not forget that it is a NOS, never worn.
I hope I get some more opinions.

Sounds good but it's not the same watch. The post 2007 Date has a super case and new machined bracelet.
Of course the older version is fine and preferred in a number of ways by some. I just wouldn't compare the two in terms of price. For true NoS condition, that price is okay for Europe.

Most important question - do you actually love the watch? It is a 34mm right? Once you wear it, it is no longer NOS so the price adjust quickly.

And the dial, long bars, half seconds, in the midnight blue, is really nice. Thank you for the input.

On the other had, it is an 888 watch, which means Hong Kong, Greece has 200, so it may have been moved around until it is sold. This does not affect value or warranty, but still a parameter to consider. Its not an every day find, a NOS at used watch price, so I was attracted. I took an option to answer tomorrow, so ..............no sleep tonight
