From what I have been reading and my own personal experience, looking for a "Good AD" is like looking for an "Honest Lawyer" .. both will stick it to you real good!!

There are many AD's there. but I'm not sure if you can call them "good" ! No discounting is the general rule...

I deal with Ben Bridge Fashion Show Mall..... All of my Rolex have been purchased there.... The people that help me are awesome, and have been since day 1, made me feel comfortable. Good selection, and good at getting what I want. I may look at other places when I can (Rolex at the Wynn does have an amazing selection), but I buy at only one. Comes down to the service for me.
I think that speaks for itself. I'll PM you a name, as I have developed a good friendship with the peeps at this store.

I would avoid the big casinos. They are looking for people with money and impulse buyers that don't care to haggle. No need or reason for them to work with you on price. I went to the Forum shops and they were "barking" at me like I was at a carnival.

And they have a bunch of goons standing there to try and intimidate you.. I didn't receive the acknowledgement I felt I was due. If they are interested in potential buyers, especially when they are wearing a Rolex ( me ) at the time, they need to learn about customer service 101. These are not cheeseburgers they are selling, they are $3000 and up.. way up... luxury items. These are a luxury item I could live without if I had to... They need to remember this, ALL AD's NEED TO REMEMBER THIS....Just a rant from my experience last October...
Hope this helps.... |

Is your brother-in-law looking for a watch for himself or for you? And in either case, what model is he on the look-out for?
Anyway, I hope he has a good trip, and maybe he could take some pics?

There are several AD's in Vegas. But you should know that they generally won't bargain on price. Selection is outstanding and they will make you pay sales tax unless you ask to have the watch shipped out of state. Although several dealers have a decent selection, Wynn has the best. Good luck and have fun.

I'm going to LV next month, I go with my Mom to visit my brother every year and a half. I've stayed at Ceasars Palace and the Bellagio before this time I decided to book a room at the Wynn so I could visit the cool watch store anytime.

I like going to Hyde Park in the Forum in Caesars...very nice people there, and have pretty large selection for a store that small! The Wynn boutique is heavy on the bling, but very scarce on sports models if you are looking for one. Take a look at the Watch Shoppe in Ti, they have a decent selection too. But my fave for looking is Tessorini at the Bellagio(in the lobby by the conservatory), they have a great selection and also carry PAMs!

There are tons of rolex dealers in LV.
as mentioned Rolex at the Wynn has a huge selection. The Bellagio store is also nice. The Toureau at Casear's also has a large selection, lots of sport models, including many daytona SS's...however they won't sell you a 116520 until you drop $100k on other crap. The Rolex dealer at Mandalay has a good selection, and they WILL sell you a daytona SS IF they have one in stock The Rolex dealer at MGM has crappy selection...

What's the difference between a lawyer and a carp? One is a scum sucking bottom-feeder and the other is a fish! PD. To our Lawyer friends I am sorry to be having fun at your expense but it is just inevitable! Guess its part of the job description! |
