heres some of my 1969 Red 1680. I think Rolex made a huge mistake when they stopped using these beautiful bevels.

i agree Jockes pictures are always amazing. I still use one of his Red sub pictures as my screen saver. I cant wait to buy a better camera and improve on my terrible pics

My pics to start the thread are no match to Jocke's but let me share a secret how I take pretty good macro lug and dial shots with a $200 camera and a $10 loupe....
Using scotch tape, I tape a 10x loupe directly onto the lens of my $200 Canon camera. I have the macro mode on and take very close up photos throught the loupe.
Works for me.

great results you have too , no matter how you get them , but thanks for sharing the tip , , all the pics in this thread are great. well done all.
cant remember who posted pics , but one of the guys had access to a microscope used for silicon chip production at work ,,,, they were outrageous.

here's my 5513 1.7 mil case. appears to be unpolished. with nice original bevels still showing.
