Day Date bracelet question and President on DJ

Question for the experts.
What is the difference between the older president bracelets (8385x) and the newer style (8320x)?

Just wanted to get your thoughts on putting a day date (president) bracelet on a datejust. I love the look of the president, but also love my DJ.
Is it compatible? Has anyone done this? Any Pics? Your thoughts

I think the end pieces are a different shape and that they are not interchangeable (probably to prevent people from doing exactly what you want!)...

I don't think it would fit. There was a gold Datejust originally produced factory fitted with a president bracelet but I believe it was a smaller mid-sized piece.

I'm pretty sure that a President bracelet would fit on a DJ; you can get a Day Date on an Oyster bracelet. Not sure that very many would spend the $20,000 bucks that it would cost though.

The ladies "President" is a Ladies gold DJ with the President bracelet

I think you are wrong here.

Pull up a photo on the web and you will see the end pieces are not as curved as on the DJ, and there is additional material on the case itself to accommodate this.

[EDIT: I looked further and I see two different types; one like I described below and one that looks just like the DJ, so it looks like we are both right!]
