Sorry to hear about your situation. I've seen alot of good advice, but let's see if we can really help. This is just an idea. There are 10,000 members of this forum if we each contribute 1.00, David's back to square one.

I've got my checkbook out.

There might be 10,000 members here but i think that only 1000 are posting. It would be nice to help though

Frostie and Flu,

It's a very nice thought and I appreciate the sentiment but thankfully I am financially ok. I work hard for my money as I am sure the majority of our forum friends do. I never spend more than I can loose so this situation hasn't changed anything.

Yeah, if I found another white dialed Daytona tomorrow and it was a smoking deal would I pull the trigger, no. Blew my fun fund for a while but all is well.

I appreciate all the support from everyone. what ever happens, I am ok. God willing, there will be other opportunities and I will have a SS Daytona. In the mean time, My kids are fed, mortgage is paid and we are all healthy. I am a happy man!

Thanks again for the kind thoughts from all of you!

Sadly enough, even at JJ's rapid-fire post rate, it would still take about 90 years.

I'd love to contribute, but the problem is that it will cost me $25 in bank transfer fees......be the sum one lousy buck or a million bucks.....makes no difference!!

Hey JJ--no worries. If you send me a million bucks, I'll front you the EFT fee!

Well as long as your giving stuff away I'll take the Platty and give you my FedEx # so it won't cost you shipping!

You are a good man David. You are handling this with grace and dignity. I hope it works out for you. Most importantly it has not tainted your outlook that would have been the biggest crime. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!

If the opportunity arises to crack him in the knees or put his butt in jail.....TAKE IT!

David,
Sorry I didn't post earlier, I was caught up on how you were being the perfect gentleman in this trying situation. Hang in there. Things will work out for the best. In the mean time, the waiting sucks.
