What should she get!?
After many months of Rolex talk at all times I think my girlfriend is pretty sold with the idea that a Rolex watch is a fine timepiece
She has finally narrowed it down to two pieces which she's asked for my opinion. I'm pretty torn between the two and would like to see what members in thus forum think. Maybe some ladies around here could also give a comment or so for the two models. Also I've been keen to tell her that a sports model would look good on her but she's pretty keen on the classic date just. She would wear it as a daily watch for work where she has to sometimes meet clients and off for meetings. also during weekends with casual wear like jeans and sneakers. The models are 1. Date just 116200 black dial Roman numerals on oyster bracelet and smooth bezel 2. Date just 116234 black dial Roman numerals on super jubilee and fluted bezel. Would really like your comments and suggestions. Thanks |

Heh, I'd go with the 116200, not really a fan of the fluted bezel on DJ's..

Because it would "sparkle," and you know how girls love sparkly things. Looking for the same for my fiancé.

Another vote for 116234. I think it's classic, and the oysters show scratches easier.

My wife loves her TT DJ. Looks good for dress up or casual wear.

Another vote for the 234...can't go wrong either way, though.

My wife likes the 117200 31mm silver face and pink markers, smooth bezel, oyster. As an everyday watch anyway.

IMO, jubilee and fluted bezel. It's more "dressy" with that combo. But, dresses down very nicely.

Jubilee and fluted is the classic DJ, prefer the Oyster or smooth bezel on the more sporty DJ2.

The Date just 116234 of course! There is not a watch such as elegant as this one!
Hopefully she'll enjoy her new watch! It's a gorgeous watch! |

I think the smooth bezel and jubilee is a good combination. It can easily be dressed up or down.

Once you see the fluted bezel and the super jubilee bracelet, you automatically know it's a Rolex. Many of you guys i'm sure agree with that. As previous posts have stated, it's a true classic and really elegant. Let's see more comments please!

Option 2, except I'd get it in TT.
I think the fluted bezel looks dated (see avatar). I agree with her choice of DJ over a sports watch; the DJ dresses down better than the sporties dress up...
