In my experiance a stand alone policy is far better than including on you house policy. You claim and it does affect future premiums. A stand alone will not - Ive gone with Jewellers mutual.

For sure insure. USAA for me, don't remember how much.

That seems just a tad high. The deductible isn't great either. Regardless, keep shopping and get it insured.
