It has been asked which Watch would be the very last one you would sell in your collection, but what Rolex would you sell first? For me, it would likely be my 116660. I just have never really bonded with it, and have often thought of flipping it for a different Rolex. How about you??

Other than my dads 1601 that he purchased in 1961 any can go if needed. But if I must, the 14060M non-COSC as I prefer to have the date on my watches.

If necessary, probably the GMTIIC. To get a TT one.

Right now, I'm actually considering selling two Air-Kings (both 14000M) in favour of one 16610 (Y serial, with Superluminova, SEL & lug holes). That would be on an almost even trade with a little bit of cash on top of the AKs. What do you think, Jason...guys?

really? i remember when the AKs came back into your stable. you were so happy with them....i would consider holding on to them, as a 16610 is a dime a dozen (IMHO).

Yeah, me too, and I really don't dislike them in any way, but just lately they've been getting next to no use. That said, it seems to be a bit of a seasonal thing with me. The AKs are great in the cooler weather, but the divers dominate my wrist in the hot, humid weather....which is most of the time here. The 114060 and the Black Bay have been reigning supreme lately as it gets warmer, and I'm warming up to the date bubble since acquiring my GMT Master II with the same combo (it's a P-Serial) as the above mentioned Sub.

Since I only have a DJII and a Daytona, it would have to be the DJII.

I just can't take my Daytona off.

well, the AKs make for a nice contrast to the GMT, 114060 and BB. if anything, i would consider flipping one or both AKs for a different watch, as the 16610 is a bit redundant with the GMT, 114060 and BB. just my two cents....

Perfectly logical, and I'll take it into consideration, but you know how it is once you get on something. What makes it difficult, mate, is that I have to walk by numerous 2nd hand Rolex shop windows every single day, and I keep seeing this darned minty Y serial that's got my attention

They're not senitmental so any could go but it would be the TT Sub first before the Exp 2. Only reason being that I had the Exp first and its more versatile to wear.

more seriously, i'm glad to not have to walk by watches each day. luckily for me, it's pretty much my wrist and TRF on a daily basis (not much wrist candy where i work).

Since I only have 2 (DJ II and Sub C ) I would be heartbroken if I had to sell either. I love them both but the sub is my everyday watch so the DJ would probably lose. Hopefully I never have to make that choice.
