Hey. I tried to post this before but it did not "take". Below is my latest. Wife owns a gold and steel Yachtmaster. Anyone else from Virginia?

I have other, better photos of my LV, but it is with small damascus knives, which I understand I cannot post.

Hey, coincidentally, wife and I both retired a bit early, and are looking to move to Ca. Purely for climate reasons (this winter was a killer). We live right in town (Historic district) and want to live in another small city where we can walk most everywhere.

We are looking at Santa Barbara (near the town, not the beach), San Fran, La Jolla, and Carmel (although Carmel is likely way above our budget). So maybe I'll see you in a year or so.

Nice to see another Hulk owner. It is Hulk, right? I hear some call them Kermits.

Correct, it is "Hulk". Kermits are the 16610LV, non ceramic version.

Thanks, Nick. The mysteries of the Rolex universe are solved on this forum.

BTW, I made a donation to maintain the website via PP. Will the system change me to Pledge member at some point, or do I have to make a change in Setting? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to TRF!

Of those choices, Santa Barbara is by far the best! North is pretty good for travel. The other spots have way too much traffic and people. I live in the county south of SB.

Thanks, Frosty. Santa B. is my first choice - we had a great vacation there - but the wife likes San Fran because of the many activities, museums, etc. We'll see what our budget will allow. Best Regards.

Thanks, Alex. Love the AP brand. So far I've bounced between Rolexes and Cartiers of different models over the years, so I need to move outside my comfort zone.

Thanks John. If 64 is your age, we are the same age. It is also my IQ, but I'm alone on the wrong end of the bell curve.

I really love mine. I've loved all of my watches, but eventually get the itch for a new one. For some reason, though, I will always keep this Sub.

Thanks for your welcome.
