Although I wear this only a day a week, I don't think I will ever flip it. MOP Dials do it for me.

Well, I'm not a flipper and none of my Rolex watches will leave my possession under any circumstances that I can currently imagine short of death.

I do agree with you about the Sub, though. My 14060M is just the most practical watch I own and I own quite a few watches from $20 to nearly $10k. I can put on my Sub and it may be eight weeks before I can bring myself to change, but I'm getting better at spreading the love.

I have been known to give away some of my lesser watches and even some I wish I hadn't, but those are the sorts of watches that the act of goodwill overpowers any intrinsic value the watches may hold.

Stunning smurf!!!! In my age i still dont really understand why people like to wear watches from precious metal like gold. Because it is just too damn expensive and heavy. Maybe someday i will understand when i got a bit older

I don't intend to sell my 116710ln or 5167a or navitimer world. I've offloaded the dead weight and these are all safe for at least the 2-3 you specify. I' hunt for sometimes 1 year sometimes longer and then buy what I can no longer deny I need!

They are all fair game. I suppose if I had the plati Daytona, that would be a keeper though I learned it is best to avoid this word :)

I have already made the mistake of selling the only one I should have kept. The rest just come and go.
