GMT II-c vs TT blue sub
Here is my dilemma. I own both watches but due to other financial needs one of them has to go... This is a really tough decision. I used to be an one-watch guy in the past so no problem with that..The question is which one to keep?
I love the bigger gmtII case and all the improvements. On the other side this blue dial is just unbeatable! The thing is I don't wear gold in general but the TT blue sub is something else...I surely get more compliments for the TT sub than for the gmtII-c which i don't mind...On the other hand sometimes the sub looks too much with casual outfit and jeans which i wear all the time...I really need your opinions... Sales price will be very close for both so not a real problem here So???

I'd say keep the GMT-IIC. Great watch, newer movement, better features (SELs, ceramic bezel etc. Newer Subs maybe this year so you can upgrade later.
My ONLY reservation on this advice is that the TT Sub is better suited to more formal attire. While neither one is a dress watch in my view, with a suit, I'd rather wear the TT Sub. Of course, I don't know how often that's an issue for you. |

Since I have a GMT IIC I vote the GMTIIC, you have the added benefit of the GMT function!

I'm not a huge fan of the blue TT Sub so I'd say stick with the GMTII-C !!!

Vote for Bluesy. I'm not a huge fan of the cosmetic "upgrades" on the GMT-IIC, but the Bluesy is a CLASSIC. Among the best Rolex has to offer. Plus, the GMT-IIC is more likely to give you full return on purchase price, and will be easier to sell.

I'd keep the Sub, but then, I'm biased!
Sounds from your post though like you are leaning towards the GMT IIc. So don't listen to what we think---fall to the side your leaning towards. |

We're all biased, no need to preface your statements LOL!!!
And on that note I voted for Bluesy, it's the Icon in the bellow 10K watches IMHO, I mean it's dressy, it's casual, it's a functional diver, and it's always in demand, so the resell value is strong. The GMTII is the hot watch currently, but the 16613 has been hot since the 80's |

As an everyday watch, I'd keep the SS GMT IIc. Although it never grew on me, it IS a more versatile watch. You can wear it with every attire and it does come in handy when travelling.

You would probably get a better price for the GMT, even though it would have cost a lot less than the blue sub when new.
Keep the sub. |

Keep that GMTIIC - better watch hands down in terms of versatility and new modifications.

I own the TT GMT and a SS Date Sub. If I was forced to sell one right now I would let the Sub go. In my opinion the GMT is a fabulous watch with many new features. I would tend to think that I could pick up a Sub at a later time. Besides, the price increase has made my TT so costly that I don't know if I would buy it again at this price today. It's over $10,000 now.
I would keep the GMT. Beautiful watch. Terry Newton

Michalis,
I also own both and I have yet to take off the plastic wrappers on my GMTIIc. Not that I regret buying it, but while it is a nice watch, the Bluesy TT Sub is just plain my FAVORITE! I also love my new TT Daytona but that is more my dress watch. I think the Bluesy looks great in casual wear. I wore my TT Sub for 15 years and I only wear jeans and khaki's to work. I always said, if I only had one watch..It would be a TT Sub. Best of both worlds as it can dress up with a suit or hang out by the pool. I think you are leaning toward's the right choice! Good luck and
