Hello all!
New member here. I usually forget to post these when I join a forum, but here's a littl info.
I'm coming from the omega world. Had the same SMP for a few years after closing a larger real estate transaction (real estate sales is my prfoession). My brother graduated with his MBA and while at the jewelry store, somewhere between "its the sign if success in America bro" and "no one will take you seriously if you don't rock a Rolex on your interview" I convinced myself I need one too...so here I am. |

I'm going to go with the 116610 Sub…for now. It's such a classic look and I don't think I will ever get tired of it.
I am around power generation frequently and I've magnetized the SMP a handful of times, so I think I'm going to go with the newer SubC. Milgauss seems the obvious choice, but I can't live without the date, and I need something robust. I wear a watch 24/7, which is actually what drove me towards the SMP. I've ruined dozens of watches by forgetting to take them off in the shower, so I thought a diver would keep the condensation out and since I bought the SMP, I haven't looked back. Shooting guns, chipping ice, taking hard spills on a motorcycle, and just about anything else I read you shouldn't do with a mechanical watch on your wrist hasn't caused a hiccup with mine. I've shied away from Rolex, but like I said above - I kind of convinced myself I need one while trying to convince the brother. |

Thanks everybody. Just ordered a pre-owned 116610LV from a forum member with good feedback. I'll post photos once it arrives.
