Best Watch on a Nato
All - I'm thinking about picking up a watch in the $4k-$7k range and would like to hear your thoughts on the options below. This watch will most likely go onto a nato and/or leather strap at some point.

On that list, the 14060 if total bracelet loss makes it necessary. Otherwise, a 5513 is the only Rolex that looks authentic on a NATO, IMO.

I'm surprised that there are no votes for the ExplorerII. Below is the thread that got me thinking about the nato idea. IMO, tan and grey look great.

Subs gmt and explorers all look good but the all black or all white colorless will be more versatile

Never got the nato thing, a 10 cent strap on a $7,000 watch. Really?

Ha! Try putting it on a bracelet.
Natos look best on thinner watches. Expy ii wins.

2) less wear and tear on the bracelet. 3) variety is the spice of life. 4) Bond, James Bond. 5) Cheap thrills on the back of my watch. |

I think the 5513 looks the best on a nato by far.

Any vintage/classic Sub - not the Sub Date - or a black dialed 16570.

Why no 116619 in the Poll? It looks great on blue NATO!
