5513 Feet first dial

Hi guys, I'm looking for some info on this 5513 dial, I can't seem to place which era it is from

It's a feet first with "Submariner" under, with the "Swiss T < 25" on top of five indices. All the other images of feet-first-sub-under dials I can find seem to have the "Swiss T < 25" on top of three indices. I've found a feet first with Swiss T over five here, but that has the "Submariner" on top.

The case is a 1.2mill serial (1967ish?) so presumably it has had a new dial fitted at some point as I believe 1.2mill was metres first era. It has had bezel insert and crystal replaced.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

The closest match from that gallery seems to be the "non-serif dial"

But the "Swiss T" is still different.

Mk 1 maxi dial circa 1978 or pre comex.
I think with that S on Submariner probably Pre Comex.
Hard to tell without seeing the coronet.

It does look like the "fat" pre-comex to me, but what about the "Swiss T" in the metres first style? Also shouldn't the horizontal strokes of F and T be aligned for Maxi I and Pre-Comex?

Looks redone, you're going to want one of the local sub experts to chime in but I see a couple of issues with this watch.

What issues in particular?

I don't like what I see

There are a number of issues:

1. With that serial number, you should have a GILT MF dial.
2. The pearl and insert are after market ( usually the bezel and the retainer as well )
3. That serif FF dial is WRONG. If you want to know what's wrong with it, PM me. Certainly don't want the fake makers to know.
4. I can't tell for sure if the hands are bad from the scans ...

Well said Tom.

I have nothing good to say about that dial. You look at a few correct serif/non serif dials and you can spot a bad one like this rather quickly.
