Back to Rolex!!!

Guys and gals,I`m back!!!

I went this afternoon to see my good friend who always have something interesting to sell or trade. He told me that he have vintage OP Date, with Thunderbird bezel.I saw it and I knew - that`s it,I`m not coming home without it!And when he opened it for me and I saw that beautiful 1565 movement in PERFECT condition and I checked out with watchmaker who confirmed me that the watch was recently serviced,I knew that I can`t go wrong!
So I started to negotiate and finally I offered him my Omega Moonwatch for OP Date and 500$.And he agreed.
The rest is history, now I`m the proud owner of beautiful vintage OP Date!
And,somehow,I`m positive that this won`t be my last Rolie this year...

Very nice! It looks good on that band. You have been doing some serious trading lately.

Wonderful piece! Now tell us how you love the acrylic crystal.

It is painfull, believe me.You buy watch and you WANT to wear it,but than comes another and another and another...and you just can`t find the time for all of them.

Maybe I should act like Nicholas Hayek,he used to wear watch on both hands?
And about you,Velitsko,well...I grew big hopes in you,my friend!
You bought your Rolex at the age of 19,right?So,when you turn 28 (like me now) I `m 100% positive that you`ll have a bunch of crowned watches in little green boxes...

Yeap i bought mine at the age of 19 with my own money.

I would not like to have a huge collection 2-3 watches is let's say my comfort zone allthough the ceramic GMT will always be my love

Thanks for the good words

Nice find Vukota!! Love that bezel. Knew you'd get back to owning a "real" watch.

I have a cat that looks exactly like that named Dan. Pure white. Very soft too.
