114270 Explorer on RubberB
So, after a bunch of headache getting this to fit, I finally got my RubberB onto the 114270 today. Looks and feels pretty nice.
Word of guidance if you're going to try this -- dig through your 20mm pin connection and find some skinny ones -- the OEM ones are too thick to allow everything to fit. Check out the final photos below: |

Strap works well with the dial. Nice change-up.

Are you sure they don't make it? Give them a call. They've always been very helpful to me. Would these fit? Good Luck!

I read in a few places that it’s due to the spring bar sizing and/or position of the 114270 vs 214270 which causes it harder to fit. It’s also not listed in any of their reference documents plus the AD for the straps also mentioned they weren’t sure. I’ll definitely call them but traveling at the moment so I turned here first :).

Interesting I was not aware of that. I don't own an Explorer but always cool to learn new things! good luck on your search man!

I emailed them once asking about a strap for the 114270 and they mentioned that, at this point, did not have a specific reference for it. They forwarded me to a blog where someone managed to adapt another reference (don't remember which reference or the website) to fit the 114260.
