Glidelock on Date/Datejust

My fiancee and I went into a store the other day looking at a Rolex for her. She really likes the Rolex 34mm Date and 36mm Datejust and the dealer showed us the new Glidelock bracelet (can't remember if both had the bracelet or not).

I was wondering if people know when Rolex changed over to the glidelock bracelets on the 34mm Date and 36mm Datejusts?

Also, is the 34mm Date a current model? I couldn't find it on the Rolex website.

Thanks!

The Datejust models should not have the Glidelock clasp from the factory. That is reserved for the ceramic Submariner / Seadweller. I think what you might be referring to is the "easy link" clasp that comes with modern oyster bracelets across the board.
