Hi John,

I chose the 16520 for a few reasons:
The brushed lugs and bracelet were a big benefit for me.
I also prefer the sub-dials on the black dial, but since you are on the look for a white dial, this won't help too much

Good luck on deciding, they are both great watches!

For white i'll go 16520 just because of the sub dials.
For black, it's 116520 without a doubt.

Nice 4-liner. The rarer dial in regular production, only made for one year. Perfect coupling with the 225 bezel. I guess this is an L serial, right?

I really like the silver subdials with concentric circles as well. It almost makes the subdials look like they are on a different level that the rest of the white; gives the watch some dimension. I'm a big fan of the polished lugs, solid center links, and the easy link clasp as well.

You won't be disappointed. Mine has been a daily for 6 months now.
Well said, I love my 116520

Zenith! Love the black subdials....Better looking for sure....if newer is better, why are the vintage Daytona's so highly sought after?? It sure can't be the updated movement and clasp?? We buy Rolex for their looks, not what's inside.....I'll take 6263,6265 any day ...but 16520 will do just fine as well.....

Hi Fabio,
Thanks
This is indeed an early L-Serial dating back to February 1990
I love this combo as well. You don't see many 4-liners in the wild.

Have a great day!

The bracelet and clasp upgrade alone trumps the slightly looking better dial of the predecessor model. Plus, the new one is 100% Rolex through and through
X2. 116520 for me.

Really not for what's inside. If buying for looks alone save some bucks and buy a knockoff.
