Jeremy Gore (Conway, SC) - Massive Flake

I get flaked out on like most people on a fairly regular basis, but none have come close to Jeremy Gore's flake out. There were confirmations texts, clarification of proper spellings, my city and so forth. We even spoke on the phone twice. Lots of communication before and after the wire was "sent". Jeremy said he initiated a wire transfer last week and that it would take 2-3 days to clear. I found it odd since wires are instantaneous but let it go. 5 business days later and nothing has shown up yet. Jeremy has not responded to emails, calls or texts at all and was very quick to before.

Jeremy has vanished after wasting lots of time for what I can only presume is the enjoyment of pretending to buy a watch.

Please feel free to reach out for copies of our communications if desired.

So he basically didn't pay you?

You still have the watch?

People get cold feet all the time.

I'm all square.

Oh no, I'm fine. No harm done. He pretended that he'd sent a wire and played along that he had for almost a week. It's important to let people know he's that kind of guy so they know not to deal with him.

This is where he found my ad and there are other reference requests for him on TRF. I presume so.

If that's his house on Google Maps, he may have been in a lawn mower accident.

Glad you're not out a watch.

It seems odd that someone would give out that much personal information, public, though it may be, just to jerk someone's chain.

Point him to this thread and ask him about it. See what he says.

Ask him first for his username, then you'd know if he is a member or just trolling. If he is serious enough to surf or buy or sell using our forum then you'd think he has the decency to register here.

I am not entirely sure what this thread is all about. He flaked. You kept the watch. What is a big deal?

See post #3 in this thread. The pretending to pay part is the problem.

That is a cornfield you are looking at. Not someone's yard.

Hummmm... You still have the watch, the flake wasted your time and the flake buyer has; your banking information for the wire transfer, full name and other personal information that you would not normally just give out. That bugs me!
