Tudor Snowflake

Sorry to keep banging on about snowflakes- but would love to get some feedback on what people think of this example. I like the idea of a banged up- almost Milsub-ish- provenance watch.

However obviously don't want to buy something that is only made to look like that and is made up of replacement dial/hands/bezel etc...

My first thoughts are the case seems to be in awfully good shape considering how worn the bezel and face and hands are.

For me, that is a big warning sign.

Also, what reputation does the seller have? What does the movement look like?

Here's a few more pictures- I understand the case has been polished, but is it really that bad?

My bigger concern is the text on the case- is it genuine?

Honestly I think your rushing. To buy a good example for decent price it takes time. Lots of time. You will eventually get it. This is not a bad example. the case looks very strong. Closer pictures of the dial and hands. Might be a water damaged dial.

All of these watches you create new threads about all have three things in common... the hands and face never match, they seem iffy at best, and their "weathered" look is actually the result of either faux aging or water infiltration.

You might want to just take a break and study the market and read past threads on their board about this model of watch.
