Smart watches looking more like normal watches
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-31683069
Just curious to see where this goes and whether smartwatches become so essential that these newer "normal" looking smart watches overtake conventional watches. Interesting times for watch makers...... |

All about technology. I think there's been a few threads similar to this, but far as seeing a digital watch with a changeable face, that's new news to me.

I think the smart watch, on the level of the upcoming Apple Watch, will encourage people to wear a "watch" on their wrist again... and eventually lead them to upmarket mechanical ones downstream. Nothing is worse than seeing bare wrist on so many people today. This helps reverse that trend. That... my phone gives me the time attitude, why should I wear a watch. Funny how things shift.

Some people are so obsessed with their phone that it's always stuck in their face.
Mine is in my pocket and I'm not going to keep taking the thing out just to look at the time. I'd wear out my pocket!
