hirsch strap broke after use
Hi everyone, I wanted to post this to see if I can get some advice.
I purchased a Hirsch Grand Duke (black w/ black stitch) on the Hirsch website on 2/21. I strapped it onto my Omega Speedmaster and wore it about 5-6 times until last Sunday (3/1). On Sunday, while I was putting the watch strap through the first looper/keeper, the keeper snapped completely off on one side. I messaged Hirsch through their website explaining the situation but have not heard a response yet. I would call but I live in US and they are based in the UK. Anyone have any advice on the next step I should take?

The keeper is actually sewn on into the inside of the strap. One side snapped off and the other is still in tact...

Call them. If nothing else it's an opportunity to talk to someone with a lovely Welsh accent. They'll be 5 or more hours ahead of the US, depending on where you are.

I have had this happen to two ostrich straps; not Hirsch though. It took a year of full time wear to happen each time. I would call them on the telephone and try to et a replacement.
