672
Today, I bowled a 672 series. That's the highest series ever for me and it was USBC sanctioned.
I live for the day that I bowl a 700 series. This was a standard house shot.

Ok not sure what any of that means .... Looks like Greek to me but a hardy congratulations because I'm sure I couldn't do that. Unless it's 672 gutter balls in a row .... That I can do.

That's awesome Grady. Congrats!
Now divide your score by Pi and that's closer to what I'd get. |

Thanks, guys.
I had good rhythm today and was very solid at the foul line. The worst frames were the two ten pins I missed back to back in the third game. The only thing I can say good about that game is that I didn't let those two whiffs destroy my focus, so I was able to finish strong. Picking up that 5-7 split in the first frame of the third game helped my frame of mind a lot, too.

Great series, very consistent. I'm all over the place, I can bowl a 180 one game, and 110 the next...but I average between 150 and 155 every season, so I guess I'm consistently inconsistent.

Nice set. The last time I saw that many X's, I think I came across something online that.....oh wait, I probably shouldn't get into that here.

Second game showed you were getting stronger. 8 strikes with 6 in a row!! 7 strikes in the last game including the last four frames!?!?! I'm very impressed. Well done!

IS IT SAFE to wear your Rolex while bowling?

Thanks, CJ.
I'm too ashamed to say what I bowled today. When I have a bad day at the lanes, I always read this.

That's impressive! You were on a roll in that second game when you bowled 234. You are very very close to 700.

Missed this thread, Grady. Congratulations! Having bowled a lot in my younger years…I never came close to that as a series score. Look at all those strikes!!

Thanks Gary and Daniel.
Yep, I was very close to 700 and it just points out how important those spares are. Those few open frames would have made all the difference. What makes the sport so addictive is that it's a constant challenge.

Great score Grady - well done.
I can't mention my sport here but I can tell you I couldn't find a 10 to save my life last weekend. Club comps this weekend -I must improve - I must improve -I must improve -

Just between you me an the lamp post, I hate candlepin bowling. When I was a kid we didn't call candlepin "bowling" we called it "boring".
