oscillating-weight-rotor-

Hi guys. Newbie hear, hoping someone can shed some light on my query.
16520 "S". On having the back removed for authentication I was suprised to see that the 4030 was fitted ( with 1 screw missing) with a "zenith El Primero" rotor as opposed to a "Rolex" rotor. It has been said that either may have been fitted at the time. Could anybody shed any light on this please. I am tempted to get a Rolex rotor (£400) fitted but need to confirm what is correct. Thanks in anticipation.

... at the time of someone buggering about with the watch, yes.

At the time of manufacture by Rolex, no.

If you send it in to Rolex they will make all good. You just need to be sure that the seller will stand by his word if Rolex report back more problems.

If the seller is the one making the "may have been fitted" statement, I'd tend to be more than a little skeptical.
