Thank you. I do feel it is the best looking combo in yellow gold for the DD.

Some pictures of the DD 40 to add to this thread from Basel 2015, courtesy of Jocke.

It looks like the chocolate roman dial (or a variation of) is being carried over to the Everose gold DD 40. Can't wait to see that beauty in person. If it looks as stunning as the 218235, I may have another incoming down the road.

Yes, it looks like there are more dials than displayed on rolex.com. Does anyone have any info on the full dial lineup for the DD40?

Thanks for the link, Neil. It looks like there is going to be quite a few dial options for the DD 40. Can't wait to see.

No doubt the DD40 is attracting a lot of attention and positive comments, but this is still a great watch.

Thanks, Felix.

I, too have always thought the Day-Date and suits make an excellent pairing.

Likewise!

Purchased NIB from local AD last week. Interesting price reduction obtained on this 3156 calibre [FAICT] unit. Serial # has "L" so, my guess is 2010/2011 factory manufacture date? Interested in any serious comments but, jokes are OK too. PM me for details regarding this NIB "el presidente" 41mm...see photo below. cheers

That is a really nice set of 1803's. After owning a similar looking Datejust 1603, I eagerly await an upgrade to a 1803- thanks for the enabling...
