Red Sub education
Hello All,
Have been doing a fair bit of reading about the red sub lately to learn. Saw this on ebay; http://www.ebay.com/itm/301561236954...3AMEBIDX%3AIT# Seems like a fake MK1 dial if i compare that to the info and pictures available here? http://www.doubleredseadweller.com/w.../untitled.html Like a mix of MK1 and MK2... Perhaps some experts can comment? |

dial is genuine : it's a mk2 " thin letters " ( or " thin fonts " according to Ed's ).
mk1 is what we call " long f " . |

It can be confusing to someone new to the hobby is if a seller on eBay does not know which dial is in his watch. Clearly the the mk1 MF Red Sub with the "long f" is easier to identify than some of the others.

Many thanks all.
Yes indeed confusing as it appeared to be a mix of 2 dials. |
