A 'Real', is it safe thread!!

I had the DSSD (not a clear pic of it sorry!) out for some underwater ocean time not to many weeks ago, and thought I'd show you all a friend I hitched a short ride with....

Is it safe??

You got guts mate, they scare the hell out of me. On my recent trip to South Africa I faced my fears and shark dived with great whites, no way I was leaving the cage though. Cheers for sharing

Rob,

If it bites your arm off as long as the shark does not go below about 130000ft the watch should be safe...... Not sure Rolex have test the enzymatic function of a sharks stomach on SS.....

Personally I would vote no it is not safe, that Shark does look a little large, what I am more worried about is you dying of cold in those boardies in Canada....... I suspect that was an Aussie shot......

Looks like a nurse shark. Generally harmless and slow-moving.

It was an 8 to 9 foot Lemon shark.... Generally harmless yes, but can take a large piece of you if it feels threatened!

To funny Craig.

It was in the South Pacific, but not in Aussie waters.
That was taken in about 30 feet of crystal clear waters, I'm holding the dorsil fin at around 15' deep, and hitched the ride for 30 to 40' give or take...
