Would you use a service like this?

While roaming eBay with the search terms Rolex 16710 I stumbled across this:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=171685580554

Now, I'm in no need of servicing at the moment but I'm curious as to what other members think? The claim to be in business since 1972 and to be Rolex certified.

Their service fee seems reasonable, provided you do not need anything extraordinary.

Would you send your watch to them?

based on how to facilitate i'd say no. i'm sure the people are fine but the terms of risk are not balanced.

There have been quite a few good reports on forum about them and the shipping method is exactly the same method as when shipping watches to a RSC.

Been on Ebay for 13 years, reviews are great with 100% feedback. I would say he is golden. So if your service needs are price based only then its a good deal. Me I would use RSC or Rikki since I am in Florida or Vanessa if your out West.

I'll stick with my RSC, for service on my modern Rolex and Damiani for vintage service.

I'm also in Florida, but don't know who Rikki is, can you enlighten me?

Eh...probably not. They look fine and reputable, but when it comes to service (and sales for that matter), I stick with what I know. And trust.

The beauty of reviews... sounds reputable. All what you're comfortable with.

Precisely the point of this thread. I'll keep them in the back burner.

Mind me asking what Damiani does different or better than RSC?

I just checked the BBB, the business opened in 2010 and a report was started by the bureau in 2013. There been no reviews no complaints no government actions and it's rated A+ at the present time. I hope this information helps

I have my watch guy here in NYC. He's independent, not affiliated with Rolex, charges fair, works fast, and is great at what he does. I don't know this guy but I prefer to hand my watch to someone I know. Maybe it's just me.
