Diff ref for diver steel

I have a confusion here between diver with ref 15703ST and 15710 ST. To me they looks exactly the same have the same movement but why diff ref no? I heard they do some minor changes in dial and movement, but it still the same 3120 movement.

The difference is the new ref has an open caseback.

Sapphire case back and slight difference in thickness I believe. Probably a more matte dial but I have not seen it in person yet. That is it.

Whoever is using 15710 for a solid case back diver is using it incorrectly.

Bro, you might had seen wrongly by mistake. The new revised divers are already available in AP boutiques here in SG. I've seen them and they all have clear case backs.
