Rolex Owners
Awhile back, I used to think of Rolex owners as arrogant and stuck ups! But upon spending time in this Forum, I realized that I am 100 percent wrong! The guys in this Forum ( owners, collectors etc )are nothing but genuinely professionals and decent! Not to mention helpful in almost everything even in personal lives!
I am so glad to find this forum and hope that this last forever until my childrens turn to join up in years to come! More power to all

You can't judge a whole group by a few idiots. This is a great group of people and proud Rolex owners. Welcome and glad you've changed your view.

I agree that the members of TRF are a great bunch of poeple. But since we are only 1% of all Rolex owners, your initial impression might hold a little water. But, from my viewpoint and, as a proud member of TRF; I do not worry about the other 99%.

It's true. In many cases Rolex owners are not average Joe everyday worker ants who save and save because they really want to own one nice watch. In many more cases Rolex owners are rich guys who buy Rolex flippantly just because they can and because the name Rolex is easily identified and recognized as a rich person's timepiece. A status symbol.
Not here at TRF. TRF members appreciate the beauty within the watch and many wish it was less recognizable. Welcome.

I would tend to agree, one can't generalise on the kind of person that owns a Rolex, they can come from all walks and situations in life with different values and personalities.
So Erwin it is good to know that you don't dislike me anymore

There are all kinds of people who wear rolex's, strangely the Reprabates (tossers) do tend to accumilate here! and i wouldnt have it any other way.
I saved like mad for my rolli, i love everyday i spend with it on my wrist, and i love to talk with friends who have a similar attitude. Here at TRF, we all mostly apprieciate our watches and each other.

Well said everyone and I agree with you all! TRF members are one of the most down to earth and easy going people I have ever met. That is definitely true when compared with many people who I met face to face. I really liked how this forum has grown to have so many humble members over the years. I've learned that many people will develop friendships when they share common characteristics like having the same hobbies or passions. We are happy with are watches and we deserve to feel that way.
This forum is really a great place, there's no formalities, it just provides such a down to earth and laid back atmosphere and I really love that about TRF!
