Anybody else have this problem with their kids?
When I happen to hold hands with my kids (3 and 4 years old) on the side of my watch, I seem to frequently bang my watch against their heads by accident. I feel particularly bad when it is the DSSD that I am wearing. Poor kids.

used to happen when my kids were that age. (they're just at that wrist swinging height) but I had a Breitling, 44mm, thick a@@ piece of steel, so yeah. A few knocks and some tears, and I sold it off for something thinner and it never happened again..

I have two; a girl and a boy. One is near 29 and the other near 23. One an angel and the other an idiot. What can you do. Maybe buying a DSSD and smacking the idiot on the side of the head with it would make a difference. This thread may have come up with good justification for me buying a new watch!!!

I've stopped wearing watches in the pool because they kids sometimes get scratched by the bracelet when we're horsing around.

Maybe I just need to keep them in helmets until they get a little taller.
Honestly, though, I do try to remember to hold my kids hand with my right hand (no watch). Unfortunately, I inevitably forget to do so and BAM!, I nail them in the head with the watch on my left hand.

Haha. Not only have i knocked my own kids but just yesterday while volunteering at "fun day" at the elementary school I clocked a 7 year old with my watch while playing tag! Both he and the watch survived, although I think his head caused my bezel to move.

I did that once walking through a resturant not paying attention and I smacked a bald gentleman right in is head with a YM2. I'm sure the side of his head said "YACHTMASTER II" for like a week.
