18038 is a Day Date, but I do agree that these dials are beautiful.

Yes, I'd say it's a vintage DJ, with a nice Lapis Lazuli dial!

Laois dial very beautiful and vintage IMHO must be quite old as it looks like plastic crystals so pre 1977

Most definitely vintage.

Very rare watch in slow set if it is in fact a 1601 slow set plastic crystal which it in looks to be.

These were made for a very short time and fall in a fairly specific serial range if they are originally equipped lapis watches. Circa 1978. Very shortly the 16018 was introduced.

The holy trinity...

You tell a 25 year old woman she is now vintage and I reckon you stand a high chance of walking around with some of your bits missing.

The term vintage is well over used by WISs.

I agree that we need a definition because I recall someone saying a 1999 watch was vintage.

Regards

Mick

Quite correct as many have mentioned, much more rare and desirable than the Onyx. I had my phone on ultra power saving which takes out most of the color even better with color

Very nice...I would say it's vintage. With every passing year, vintage seems younger and younger.
