GMT II-C: LN v BLNR
Morning folks,
Do any of you happen to have both of these models? If so can you share pics please? I'm curious to see how they look side by side. Initially, I preferred the LN but with all the recent incoming threads of the BLNR I'm actually warming to it. Have a good Sunday! |

I don't have either watch but it will come down to 2 things. Personal preference and how many other watches you have. Personally I don't like the BLNR or any multi colour bezels. Also the LN may work better as an only watch. However if you have a few others and fancy a splash of colour then the BLNR might be be way to go.

There are tons of threads comparing the two. There are also side by side shots on here, and Google Images.

In fact I didn't even think of the BLNR, I was about to pull the trigger on the LN in a few days. I visited the AD just to try the LN back on to fully make sure in my head I want it; and after trying it on, I was sure. The the AD salesman showed me HIS BLNR he was wearing on his suit, and I thought, wow it doesn't look bad at all. I tried it on, and I really did start to warm up to it. In the flesh it looks really good. Few weeks later and a lot of thinking later, I bought the BLNR. Now about 4 months later, i'm still on the honeymoon phase. I LOVE this watch! Do it! |

Both are great models and I would recommend trying both on before you purchase.

Had the LN before the intro of the BLNR. BLNR is my choice.

Dee, if you have a black sub I'd get the BLNR. If you had the LVc I'd maybe get the black.

I recently chose the LN over the BLNR for several reasons. I think it's dressier and more versatile. I also like the effect of the little splash of color with the green hand and text. With the BLNR, the color of the hand matches the color in the bezel. It was the right thing to do and it looks amazing, but it is a totally different effect. Also, in the LNIB market the difference is at least $2K. That didn't dictate my choice, but it was a factor.
All that said I do like the BLNR (a lot) and it undeniably has been a phenomenon, at least here. It really has become I watch unto itself, e.g. I feel like there are more posts about choosing between a BLNR and a SS white faced Daytona than between an BLNR and an LN. I am by no means criticizing it, but that aspect of the BLNT also nudged more towards the LN, for whatever reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I also went from the Sub LN to a BLNR. No regrets.
The LN GMT might be an option for you too, but the BLNR is a beautiful watch in person. |

I have owned both. In fact, the LN twice.
The BLNR is the way to go. It's the one I will keep. |
