My "travel" watch for when wearing the Datejust probably isn't a good idea...

So I thought I'd share my Travel watch I picked up a few months ago. I do a bit of traveling for work and sometimes wearing my Datejust isn't practical. Without further ado, here it is:

It's a Wyler Life Guard. Looks like an Explorer, hence why I got it. Supposed to be a decently sturdy watch for every day.

What do you think? Anyone else have a similar one?

Cool watch, is it a radium dial?

I don't actually know if it's radium. The dating-by-serial-number infrastructure for Wyler isn't as robust as for Rolex.

Upgrade when the GMT just won't cut it? That's one way to do it. I think as I get older, the Pateks will grow on me. Who knows.

Actually, is there a simple way to determine a radium dial?

You didn't say.

I'm not sure if it is. I also don't know how to tell. Google is in my future.

A geiger counter might help

Seriously though, nice watch!

Yes that crossed my mind. Thanks, I like it. For the price it was a good snag.
