I do tend to be somewhat of a purist when it comes to most things, and I know I'll catch a lot of negativity on this idea, but...........
I keep looking at my white dial Milgauss and say it screams for diamond begets. I'm ready for the "NO" comments, lol. But think about it, the watch has that two tone high polish bracelet, the smooth high polish bezel and it's a dressy sport piece. Was thinking orange at 3 6 9 and white diamond begets replace the rest of the hour mearkers?

I think it would look OK and kind of goes with the science theme of the watch .. "geoscience" etc

Im not a massive fan of diamond models but can picture that looking quite good

And yep a lot of people would say absolutely no way Rolex would do it, but they were the same people who said the same about the Sub before it became available in gold and with diamond models

How do you plan on accomplishing this mod? Are you going to have someone make a custom dial for you or doing it yourself?

Diamonds are too blah for this dial. It calls for gems that pop, like the orange markers do. Rubies are a bit too pink. Maybe topaz or citrine.

Or, just leave as is.

Thank about it from a different angle. The MG is more of a tool watch, with the second hand, and dial colors, I think you would be better off trading the MG for a Day-Date with diamonds, or then adding diamonds to the Day-Date.

Putting diamonds on a MG is like putting mud tires on a Ferrari, you can do it, but it's not a good fit.

I think some emeralds at 3 6 9 would go nicely with the orange.

Although, I'll still prefer my stock GV.

Industrial diamonds then

The 116400 white dial is supposed to pop. The orange markers would be all that I would need. But, a bit of added bling wouldn't be out of sorts with the style of this dial, and would have no affect on the tool watch's functionality.

All the color on the dial will be removed if you use diamonds.
I think it would make it look pretty plain.
Don't like the ideal. But would use a colored gem stone if you were going to do it.

By the way, always had a special affinity to that model...tried one on several years ago and just about purchased it on the spot. Enjoy yours, whatever you choose (or not) to do.

I love the watch, I love the dial in white......I'm just having a problem with the hour markers. They are not the same orange as the lightening bolt (seconds hand), they appear more like.... Do I dare say it........a Salmon color!!!!!!
