Dang! I missed tonight's GTG in Melbourne!

I got my Thursday's mixed up and missed out on tonight's GTG with the Melbourne TRF Crew. Bugger!

Sorry, James, Steve, Michael, Kai and others!

I bet you're all having a great night.

I definately won't miss the next one. See you there too John (Jac1)?

Kind regards

Chris (not) in Melbourne (tonight).

Aw, shucks!

If it's any comfort to you, I bet they had a beer (or two) on your behalf!

That "eating beer" part on its own is pretty crazy already. And I know I had made a typo Sin Nombre, I fixed it.

Never heard of anyone eating beer before....

Chris,

You missed a very good night and a few (light) beers were consumed along with some good food.

A few pics taken to on James' camera. Oops, I should not have said that as now everyone will want to see the pics........

Poor excuse though being not being available...

I got home about midnight. We met at about 6pm. You would have enjoyed it too.

John, I'll be there when your next in town around June 12. Steve and James are going to keep me updated.

Beer? Lies! Damned lies! All we had was hot chocolate, I swear!

It was a very good night - we're going to have to have a reprise on the 12th!

Wow that photo went up quickly, like within 30 minutes of the GTG finishing, I was waiting all day yesterday to see it, but totally missed it.
Yes, it was a fun evening, very relaxing

You could have turned up on the right day on your side of the planet and still been a day late

It's always good to see pics of TRF GTGs.

Hmmm...so how come you guys are wearing coats or jackets? It's so warm here in the Pacific Northwest.
What's the temperature like down under?

Looking at the picture, I notice everyone is wearing a coat. I can't help but wonder, how cold does it get in Australia during your winter?

I guess that's why a buddy of mine refered to beers as hydrolic sandwiches.

I think it would have been about 9 or 10 degrees that evening. The outdoor arrangements didn't give anybody much space to hang our coats or jackets, so we kept them on.

Thanks for the picture James. That's a nice rig you got there. The flash diffused very nicely!
We had a wonderful evening. Thanks for the invite.

P.S. Going to that joint for another hot choc now

Well, in Melbourne you get all four seasons in one day. I'm sure they're all wearing short sleeves under those jackets.

I wear long sleeves to cover my rollie, since I'm a dumba$$ geek and can't watch my six...
Had another hot choc to drink and a melting choc on strawberries to eat this avro. I have to watch my waistline more now
I'll blame you guys if I get fatter!

Kai,

You're okay. It was a great night too. I'm looking forward to doing it again at another restuarant that is not as noisy.
