Dictionary Time

JJ, since CJ is american and a cop and spells everything phonically (oder) your pick up on his mis-spelling I think should be ODOR and not the one you used.. Give me 50 please. :o)

Main Entry: odour
chiefly British variant of ODOR

Main Entry: odor
Pronunciation: 'O-d&r
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English odour, from Middle French, from Latin odor; akin to Latin olEre to smell, Greek ozein to smell, osmE smell, odor
1 a : a quality of something that stimulates the olfactory organ : SCENT b : a sensation resulting from adequate stimulation of the olfactory organ : SMELL
2 a : a characteristic or predominant quality : FLAVOR <the odor of sanctity> b : REPUTE, ESTIMATION <in bad odor>
3 archaic : something that emits a sweet or pleasing scent : PERFUME
synonym see SMELL

Don't forget Phonetically for someone from New Jersey is also different than for the rest of us.
Why is Phonetically spelled with a PH??
Let's try this again...
See Jay, bein' from New Joiysey, has spelt thing fonetikly
