Hello All,
To help me make my decision between a GMT Master II with Black Bezel or a Submariner with Black Bezel, which adjustment clasp do you find to the best - Guidelock on the Submariner or GMT Half link adjustment !

Glidelock is better in my opinion, wish Rolex would offer this clasp adjustment feature to GMT!

By Clasp GlideLock is definitely favoured over the EasyLink.
But the DSSD version is most engineered of the bunch.

Then again its a weird way to decide on the watch by just the clasp.

Glidelock, simply amazing, the perfect fit all the time. Some with narrow wrists have found the clasp a little long though. No issue for me.

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I prefer the Easy Link. Mine is perfect for normal conditions with the EL closed, and when it's hot and humid I can pop it open without even opening the clasp for some extra room. Personally I don't need 10 different positions.

Glidelock is the best. It has the most flexibility, and is very easy to use.

Glidelock provides a superior fit because it is adjustable in smLler increments. The downside of the Glidelock is that the clasp cover is large. This is only problematic when trying to center the clasp on smaller wrists.

The Easylink on my GMT is great and after some initial adjustment I was able to get a perfect fit. I did not need a half link....for that matter I'm not sure you can source one for the GMT, rather you would get a Sub half link. I'm intrigued by the Glidelock and think that overall it is the better of the two. Regardless, I would not let the clasp be the deciding factor on choosing a watch. The GMT and the Sub have lots of differences. Decide which one meets your needs better.

honestly once I have the watch sized correctly I never touch the glide lock or the easy link so really doesn't matter

Glidelock all the way, but the easy link is sufficient for most daily occasions. I can't quickly size it for my wife, which might be leg up as well;-))

Glidelock, and frankly hard to see how the Easylink could be said to be preferable in any circumstance but happy to hear the thinking if anyone believes it is. Both are of course great innovations and make the ownership of modern pieces even better!

Easy Link. If your watch is fitted correctly in the first place it does it's job perfectly when your wrist swells. It's an unobtrusive, simple fire and forget system. I have no need (or need to pay) for something as over-engineered and over-large as the Glidelock, and honestly don't think about my wrist enough to feel a need for constantly fiddling with a watch clasp in 2mm increments throughout the day. Far too fussy for my taste, and don't like the Thor-wrist amulet feel and look.

Glidelock!!! I like to wear my watch "snug" so I can always have a perfect fit.

It truly has ruined some of my other watches for me, I like it so much, I will probably go with another Sub for my next.

+1, I have also felt that the Easylink clasps have less surface area to get scratched up.

Glidelock if given a choice but my 16613 which is properly sized needs no adjusting so ultimately Dr. Tom is correct!!

buy the model you want, don't worry about the clasp. JMHO
