PAM190 & PAM111 pictures

Everyone, here's my new PAM190 and PAM111 with better pictures, as promised. I can't stop thinking about Panerai, and all the models I want for the collection. Just too much $$$ to spend! Again, thanks for everyone's help with the purchase decisions.

Two very nice watches you have there - congratulations!

Hey I'm curious, I have the Radiomir Black Seal (PAM287) and wondering is the 8 days the same size case or smaller?

I think they are the same 45mm case. I love the 287 too, very practical for everyday wear. Enjoy!

Very nice indeed!!

I'm awaiting the call from my AD for the 111. Hien, do you find that the case and bezel are too shiny/blingy on the 111? I have contemplated getting the 177 instead because I might find the 111 too flashy..........your thoughts?

Felly, man you're just too Panerai these days Well, the PAM111 is very nice for an everyday watch. Too flashy? Not at all! I really don't like titanium, just because of the color and light weight. I preferred a rock solid watch, heavy like a man's watch Really, it's down to personal taste. But as for PAM111, the shiny case really brings out the look of the watch, especially, when the dial a black and plain with leather strap. Trust me, you will love it! I know, I can trade for your PAM270 Even trade? J/K Get it and you will wear it everyday for sure!

Thanks for the advice Hien! You make a very valid point about the weight and contrast of the polished on black dial look and I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing the 111 out of the AD's door when it comes in.

One other thing that's really not a concern is the 111 IS $600 cheaper than the 177. I really would like to try them on at the same time but that might not be possible unless they get both in.

Enjoy those Pams Hien!!

Felly, I was originally torn between the 104 and 177; I was leaning toward the 177 for similar reasons as you mention above. Make sure you see the 177 in person, after finaly seeing it I would have gone with the 104. I personally think the brushed steel is a better look compared to the titanium. I ended up getting the best of both worlds with my 233 and then sum.

Rgds,

Marc

Thank you for your thoughts Marc! I just bought a 270 so I have the brushed steel case with polished bezel which IMO is a great combo. The question is, will I prefer the all brushed Ti over the all polished steel? If it's one thing I've learned with Pam's, you have to try them all on to see if you like a particular model. You can't rely on pic's to tell if you like it or not.

IMHO,polished steel beats brushed Ti by a mile .

I think it's really hard to dress up the Ti, it’s a sport look for sure and in my opinion looked disappointingly cheap in person...it kind of looked like grey clay... Granted the one I saw was pre-owned but in very good condition; I don't know, it just did not look like what I had anticipated. The Ti did not have a brushed steel look at all, it really was more like a flat grey..kind of dull.

One of the coolest things about most Pannys as you know, is the ease and ability of dressing up/down the watch to suite your need. Throw a black strap on the 104 you're at a black tie affair; something in a light vintage brown and you're hanging on a boat with friends drinking your favorite beverage; something a little funky colored, you're in Vegas.

JMO,

Marc

my latest obsession is to get a 233 and a 190.
best of all world right~both awesome calibers, 1950 case and a radiomir.
man the 233's are striking for sure.

Actually, the PAM190 8-day last close to 10 days. I will have the details when it stops. Thanks!

I could not disagree more about Ti. Out of 15 PAMs I wear my 279 by far the most. The tobacco dial is stunning and I greatly prefer the weight to steel IMHO.
