Rolex Linen Datejust 16014

Hello everyone,

New here and really enjoying reading and learning from all the posts. I just made my first big watch purchase. I am not sure of the exact year but I acquired it from a friend, 80s linen datejust, unpolished with a 555 band.

So, for curiosity sake.. this is one linen face that i do like.. it doesnt seem the same as the OP. it looks like the dial has been added as here is a circular line around the face. where as the OP there does not seem to be a line around the face.

and there is no lume...

That's a pie pan dial, it's from a DateJust that's older than the one the OP posted.
