1675 GMT Dial Question

I've been searching for a 1675 or 16750 matte dial GMT recently. I've come across some that have paint/lume/something outside of the markers, and some that have stuff that doesn't quite cover the markers. I am unsure about what it could be. What do you guys think? Are these attempts to show fake patina? Bad lume jobs? Natural wear?

All of the postings claim either original dial, or service dial. All my Rolex education tells me that Rolex watches are perfect, and red flags should be raised if anything seems off. Of course, these watches I'm describing are 40+ years old. So I'm unsure.

Can be normal for watches that are older could be relume or just old fashion patina. The newer ones are close to perfect. Older ones are that. Old and worn. Just the way we like them

Normal. I would say a lot of it affects negatively. Some acceptable. Those with none premium.

Consistently over the markers implies a relume job. A shrunken, non-geometrical shape behind/within preprinted markers would imply relume as well.

Spotting or speckling across the dial can/would most likely be cleaned up by some rodico, and should gives a heads up to look for flaking of the hands, if not of the individual plots and/or dragging of the hands.

Who's to say where's the line to draw on the worst lume job that Rolex has done or hasn't... Rolex has occasionally significantly erred on individual examples. My point is, many dealers might state that it's an 'original' dial while it's within reasonable cosmetic/uncosmetic limits -- but a poor example is a poor example, and might as well be chalked up as questionable.

Old is old, and you should remember that patina is a big authenticator in the world of Vintage.
