Old School Rolex/Cellini polishing cloths
I was perusing ebay and searching for the old Rolex/Cellini inscribed polishing cloths that would have been included in the service box when your watch was returned to you from an overhaul, or, generally given to you by the AD when you would purchase a new Rolex from them.
I know these went out of production back in 2008. I see numerous of these being sold on ebay. Prices range from $9, to someone asking $300 for the Rolex/Cellini/Tudor inscribed versions. Middle range is roughly $20. My question is, are there things being counterfeited out there and could any of these be counterfeits? If so, how can you tell which ones are real from the fakes. I'm looking to purchase one to complete a watch purchase I may be making in the near future. Thanks |

I would expect that the majority of them are "counterfeit". As are the shirts and hats all over the 'bay.

Nowadays we have microfiber towels which work way better than the cloth you mentioned.

Is this what you're looking for. I got this in 2004 after my watch had a visit to the NYC RSC. If it is, send me a PM with your info and you can have it for free. I'll mail it to you. Rest assured it's real.
