1981 Submariner with Sea Dweller Crystal

There is a 1981 Rolex Submariner on ebay it says its all original but it has a Sea Dweller crystal did they ever make a sub with that crystal ? The guy says that's the way the watch came I never saw one like that can anyone clear this up for me is he a liar ?

I assume that is is either a 5513 or 1680 with the Sea Dweller crystal. Gives a super dome effect. You are right that it is not "original" but many have replaced with Sea Dweller crystal to get that extra "thickness". Looks very nice actually.

The 5513 can be fitted with a t39 instead of a t19. Not correct but not a big deal to change if you want to.
