Dmitrii, I would say a silver DD40 would be best to pair with your Daytona. Plus you have a Sub and GMT for pure sports as well. Chances are these two will go for the Smurf anyway.

Im in the same boat considering the DD40 in RG & YG but the Smurf has caught my attention lately. Tough choice thats why I haven't pulled the trigger and is nice to see someone else in the same posistion.

I love the president bracelet very much, but the DD40 does not have it for me when I saw it on the wrist. That last thing is very important. You must see it for real on the flesh. So this is what I decided.......

Good luck with your choice

Are those your only options? Are you also waiting for Basel 16?

Making this very hard for me with that pic.

I've tried on at an AD before and couldnt get a good feel because watch wasn't sized.

You should ask them to size it properly for you. Your AD should be more than willing to do that for you

Why not consider a WG DD? I voted to go with the WG Sub for this poll.

YG Day Date 40, but YG Sub Sunburst dial for the win! More sporty too. I owned a WG Sub and enjoyed it until the YG bug took over.

This question was made for me as they are both my two favourite watches. The w/g sub is for when your under 50years old (although it's still good for over 50) and the y/g DD is for when your over 50years old (although good at any age) the question is easy. My problem is I'm 50 years old and haven't got either. Both are a classic good luck what ever way you go (although I we be jealous look forward to seeing whichever you get)

DD40! With silver or black diagonal motif. Makes for one charming and superlative wrist...and I'm a guy who likes the pops of color that Rolex has to offer like the Smurf or Hulk; however, the DD40 is just an awesome piece.

Of the ones pictured the WG Sub, maybe a different DD40 dial would change my mind

WG Smurf a clear winner. Versatility winner. Modern winner. Understated class winner. Sporty winner. Wait with the President until you pass +50 - it will suit you much better then.
