Sorry my previous message is all confused due to my French autocorrect.

What i wanted to say is :

That is the main downside of our so called democratic system. Every one believes his (or her) little individual problems or opinions are of any kind of importance to the majority.

Definitely a bummer. I have a mild sensitivity. While my watches do not affect me, my glasses do. A thin layer of clear nail polish did the trick on the glasses. Although please check with an authority, i bet it would go a long way toward reducing skin contact with the offending metal. If on a nato strap, a thin layer on the case back is not noticeable and would probably solve your problem. Good luck.

The democratic system is fine, it's the societal belief held by too many individuals that the "system", corporation (as seems to be the case here), or some other institution should fix every failing or perceived unfairness without any acceptance of one's own responsibility to plan ahead and/or work around life's little problems when they inevitably crop up.

The OP has been offered helpful, viable solutions, but it's clear he figures Rolex should accommodate his allergy. Yes it's an unfortunate physical predicament that's not his fault, but I'm not sure it differs that much from someone with no wrists or eyesight expecting them to do the same.

Many great suggestions here. To the OP, I hope you can continue to enjoy the Rolex brand.
