A trillion is a thousand billion written thus: 1,000,000,000,000.
And I think the next one up would be a Zillion which is a thousand trillion and written thus: 1,000,000,000,000,000.

So to summarise: a Billion is one and 9 zeros; a trillion is one and 12 zeros; a zillion is one and 15 zeros.

I RESEMBLE THAT REMARK.

Not where I come from JJ,there are other places on this Planet out side of America.Historically, there are two different kinds of billions. There is an American billion, which is. 1,000,000,000 . And the British billion which is. 1,000,000,000,000.which one would you rather have in cash if you could.

Padi,

I just looked up the word billion in the Oxford Dictionary and it comes up as a million million which would be 1,000,000,000,000 and which is what you've typed above!

I guess the Americans would consider it still as just a thousand million.

JJ

So it looks like that everything is not bigger in America after all.
