If I can't remember that my sunglasses are on my forehead, how do you expect me to remember the combination to a million pound safe

Can the police dog be trained to find hidden watches? Hmmm... might be a business opportunity for you here Tye

When I was a teenager I used to have five sets of car keys because I always used to misplace them. By the end of a week I was always frantically looking for at least one set. Generally at this point I would find most if not all of them and then the process would repeat itself.
Finally I just got in the habit of always placing things in the same place to make things easier. It doesn't always work, but I've gotten a lot better.

The good old days without remotes or immobilisers... $2 for a set of keys, rather than up to $1,000 for one that a dealer has to program.

Why not put it on the dog's collar, then if anyone manages to get the watch they probably won't have an arm to put it on.

Got to get a decent safe...mine would be very hard to get into, but first you would have to find it.

Ha ha. Touché.

And it actually would be possible to train a dog to find watches. You would do it the same way you do when training for narcotics/ bombs etc.

Watches have certain parts that will have a distinct odor.

The only problem is with training to find the watch, the dog would locate any other items that have a similar odor. And since I don't know the complete chemical compounds that are in a watch, it may be a problem.

However, if it was a precious metal watch it should be easier as gold isn't usually a common household item. Etc.

I like that idea even better. As long as he doesn't eat it.

By the way Fraser says hello while working tonight.

Have a pal with an Irish Wolf Hound and a Dane, burglars threw meat over the garden fence and poisoned both dogs. they then burgled the house two or three days later. He lost about £80,000. However, the death of his dogs destroyed him.
